1. About Secure 1st Title & Deed™

Secure 1st Title & Deed™ provides homeowner education, property-readiness resources, proprietary digital products, Secure 1st Access Code™ verification, Secure 1st Portal™ tools, RecordReady™ resources, Secure 1st Live Monitoring™ and selected physical keepsakes.

Secure 1st Title & Deed™ is not a law firm, title insurer, government agency, law-enforcement service or emergency service, and our products and services are not a substitute for legal advice, title insurance, professional title examination or other advice from an appropriately licensed professional.

2. Eligibility & Customer Information

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase Secure 1st products or enroll in Secure 1st Live Monitoring™. You agree to provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge and to keep customer-access credentials reasonably secure.

3. Digital Products & Licensed Use

Digital products, forms, guides, templates, downloads and other proprietary materials are licensed to the purchaser for personal, household and intended customer use unless a product expressly states otherwise.

You may not reproduce for resale, publicly distribute, publish, sublicense, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit Secure 1st proprietary materials, access methods, branded assets or protected systems without written permission.

4. Secure 1st Access Code™ & Verification Tools

Certain eligible customers may receive a Secure 1st Access Code™ used with Secure 1st verification tools. The Access Code is private and should be used only by the customer or a person the customer intentionally authorizes.

Verification confirms a match within the Secure 1st system based on submitted information. It does not establish legal ownership, title status, government identity, property rights, lien status or entitlement to any legal right.

We may use rate limits, temporary lockouts, logs or other security controls to reduce misuse of verification tools.

5. Secure 1st Live Monitoring™

Secure 1st Live Monitoring™ is an awareness and notification support service related to supported publicly available property-record activity. It is not a legal service, title company service, title search, title insurance product, government filing service, fraud-prevention guarantee or law-enforcement service.

Availability, supported records, jurisdictions, timing and notification methods may vary. Monitoring does not guarantee prevention, detection or correction of every filing, event, error, unauthorized act or property-record issue.

Subscription billing and renewal terms are presented at checkout or enrollment. Customers remain responsible for reviewing notices and deciding what action, if any, to take.

6. RecordReady™ & Educational Resources

RecordReady™ and related educational resources are designed to help users locate, understand, organize and document information associated with records or property-readiness. They do not provide legal conclusions, determine ownership, establish title status or replace advice from a licensed professional.

7. Physical Products & Keepsakes

Physical items such as Legacy Stewardship Certificates™ are commemorative products and do not establish legal ownership, title status, government identity or legal rights.

Product appearance may vary slightly from website previews because of printing, display, personalization, packaging or production differences. Shipping details and included services are governed by the product description presented at the time of purchase.

8. Payments, Pricing & Third-Party Checkout

Prices are shown in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers. Their checkout, payment-processing and related terms may also apply to your transaction.

We may update prices, product availability, features or offerings prospectively. A price change does not alter a completed purchase unless required by law or expressly agreed.

9. Digital Delivery, Fulfillment & Customer Responsibility

Digital products may be delivered by email, protected download page, customer portal or another designated method. Certain components may be delivered separately for security or fulfillment reasons.

Customers are responsible for maintaining access to the email address used for purchase, downloading purchased materials within any stated access period, and storing private files, Access Codes and other customer materials securely.

10. Refunds, Cancellations & Subscription Services

Because some digital products provide immediate access to proprietary materials, eligibility for refunds may be limited after delivery or access. Any product-specific refund, cancellation, subscription or renewal terms shown at checkout or on the applicable product/service page form part of these Terms.

If a product is defective, duplicated, not delivered as intended, or otherwise presents a fulfillment problem, contact Secure 1st Support so the issue can be reviewed.

11. Intellectual Property & Proprietary Systems

Secure 1st forms, guides, documentation, branded materials, visual designs, software workflows, customer-access methods, verification systems, automation logic and related proprietary content are owned by or licensed to Secure 1st Title & Deed™ and may be protected by copyright, trademark, trade-secret or other applicable rights.

12. Prohibited Use

• Attempting to access another customer’s private materials or verification information without authorization.
• Misusing Access Codes, customer portals, verification tools or monitoring systems.
• Interfering with website security, rate limits, access controls or service availability.
• Using Secure 1st proprietary content for unauthorized resale, redistribution or commercial exploitation.
• Using the website or services for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive activity.

13. No Guarantees & Limitation of Responsibility

Secure 1st products and services are designed to support education, organization, awareness and preparation. Results depend on customer circumstances, available records, jurisdiction, customer action and other factors outside our control.

To the extent permitted by law, Secure 1st Title & Deed™ is not responsible for losses caused by a customer’s misuse of materials, failure to review notices, reliance on a product as a substitute for professional advice, third-party acts, unavailable records, inaccurate information supplied by others, or events outside our reasonable control.

14. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in the Secure 1st Privacy Policy, which forms part of your use of the website and services.

15. Changes to Products, Services & Terms

We may update these Terms or modify products, services, supported features, availability, pricing or website functionality from time to time. Material updates to these Terms will be reflected by a revised "Last Updated" date on this page.
